AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Foreign Ministry has denounced the recent comments made by the US president about the country’s Supreme Leader, labeling them as offensive, undiplomatic, and contrary to international standards.
In a statement released on Sunday, the ministry asserted that such remarks violate established moral principles and the UN Charter’s core values, particularly the right of nations to self-determination. The ministry called the comments a direct insult to Iran’s long-standing civilization and an affront to the sentiments of millions of Muslims worldwide.
The ministry stressed that the remarks were not only an insult to the Iranian nation, but also to the entire Muslim world, reiterating the deep emotional and cultural impact of the statements.
The statement also cautioned that this type of rhetoric would only worsen hostility toward the United States. It warned that continued provocations and disrespect toward revered Iranian and Muslim figures would intensify anger toward Washington’s foreign policies and further undermine its image as a promoter of dialogue and diplomacy.
